Dental Hygienist

Caitlyn is a dental hygienist who received a bachelor’s degree in Biology at Millsaps College and a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of MS Medical Center. Caitlyn helps assess and improve patients’ oral health and instructs them in proper oral hygiene for healthier, happier smiles. 

She started her career in the dental field as an assistant office manager in 2013 and joined the Dogwood Family Dental team as a dental hygienist in 2019. Her favorite part about her job is seeing patients every six months, forming relationships with them, and learning about their work, kids, interests, and hobbies.

Caitlyn’s husband Jimmy is also passionate about healthcare, and he works as a nurse at UMMC. They have two young children, Parker Jett and Rowan. They spend their weekends grilling out with family and friends and support their kids’ favorite pastimes—soccer, baseball, and dance. Caitlyn and Jimmy look forward to traveling in the future. Their goal is to visit all 50 states.
