Dr. Amy Sherman earned her DMD from the University of Mississippi's School of Dentistry in 2003. That same year, she began her career as a dentist in Brookhaven, MS. After a year of practicing dentistry there, she pursued her own path and opened Dogwood Family Dental. Dr. Sherman and her team have been serving families in Flowood and the surrounding areas since June 2004, and they look forward to many more years of creating healthy, happy smiles. 

Dr. Sherman loves meeting new patients, greeting familiar faces, and helping them achieve their dental health goals––whether it's full-mouth rehabilitation to restore their smile or routine preventive care to maintain optimal oral health. Dr. Sherman is nothing short of a dental care dynamo, and she enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from tooth-colored fillings and crowns to gentle extractions and attractive dentures.

Dr. Sherman and her husband Hal have been married for 18 years and have two teenagers. They spend most nights and weekends cheering on their son playing soccer and baseball and their daughter playing soccer and tennis. Dr. Sherman also enjoys cooking delicious meals for her family and playing tennis in her free time.
